Local rain gauges already showing 1”+ amounts. This is one of the more legit rain events I’ve seen since I moved to Frederick. Radar still showing activity to the southwest and the thunder is booming. 2” is within reach.

Gonna be 1-2” amounts around here, I think, when all is said and done.

Pretty impressive early season pollen situation. One of the courts I was going to shoot around at on my lunch break was littered with pollen (so I didn’t stick around very long) and so was my car this morning.

This weather variable combo is in my top 5. And topped off with storms later? Premium.

Definitely a noticeable uptick in humidity. If we can get some sun tomorrow, I would think there’s a chance at some boomers.

April showers…

More sun out here than I expected to start the day. Might reach 80 again…and all aboard that train. Note, I’ll be good with the cool down by Tuesday, but was def craving these temps.

Since we struggle to snow in winter, we're definitely going to get snow in April. I am, however, interested in severe weather potential.

Drought type of rain falling. Rain drops are spaced out and generally light so far.

I don't think they care too much, to be honest. A lot of them have been through the coaching carousel through AAU and school. UMD didn't quit, they just lost to a #1 seed. I'm not reading too much into it. The biggest issue with MD sports is that they're just not able to consistently recruit top tier talent from the DMV in basketball or football. I don't know if it's because a lot of local kids just want to get away from the distractions or that they're just not drawn to the campus vibe.

Dang it, the base state Midwest cloud deck has returned. I’m loving the incoming wind direction, though. I’m done with northerly components for now.

They got blasted on defensive boards. You can't give a team like Florida that many second chance opportunities. It also didn't help that they shot under 33% from threes.

They’re just playing against elite talent. Too sloppy on offense, though.

We need a 2018. My IG is set to private, but I made a post there showing June 2018 vs December 2017 at Great Falls. The difference was ridiculous. I think 2017 was wet too, but more so in the summer. Biking into the wind adds another dimension to an uphill climb. I wouldn't be opposed to a light southwest breeze as our next pattern evolution.

Very little southern stream, and most of the NS vorts scoot further north and leave us with windy/cool conditions (like today). I think we need a complete pattern overhaul and I'm assuming an El Nino which (aside from me simply not wanting cold weather right now) is why I'm all good with the milder weather coming up.
