  1. I'm rooting for yall. I really am. Long long time over due. Considering how the globals have been... I've got more merit on short range. Globals have been blah.
  2. True. But it's the gfs at 96, 108 324 hour
  3. Need that sw to dive more. DGZ is relatively dry. About the only thing that you will get is rain with a few mangled flakes.
  4. FWIW. 18z Nam Vs GFS. Still a border line system. Nam retains some of that energy in southern Canada. More of occluded frontal boundary. May or may not have the merit behind it to dig a good slp. Further east development. Granted nam shows slp in MO, MS, NO.
  5. Actually has two systems. Friday/Saturday and Monday/Tuesday. Second system I85 north Definitely noticed on the para next week looking like the southern stream becomes more active. So the models will probably change quite a bit from now to next week.
  6. Now this is my kind of weather. Last couple of days had the windows open at night and day. Warm and breezy. Currently 80 mid 80s definite again today
  7. Looking at some of the operational and para gfs We might have a cool spell here or there. But probably looking at a big push around the 14-16th.
  8. Gospel music coming from a church roughly 1/2 mile away. Fireworks in the background. How bad can 21 be? Happy New Year's
  9. That big hill(mountain) in rougemont right off of 15/501 near the county line. I've heard of timber rattlesnakes around that area too.
  10. Watch your fire pile. Baby copper heads like hiding in wood piles You go grab a log bam a foot long copper head. When they young and cold . They can't control their bite too well . You might get a dry bite or a wet bite.
  11. If I recall correctly. Christmas Day for the most part was cold and cloudy. It started flurries. Just after mid day late afternoon. Towards Danville they didn't get as much. But for the most part it was powder. By the 27th it was pretty much gone.
  12. I seriously don't see the long range being a torch.
  13. I was eyeballing it. Maybe 2 chances. Again Mr Burns. Kind of early. Jk.
  14. Florida was cold today. First cold Christmas in 20 years. Upper 40s atm after a high between 50-52. Freeze warnings up. Between 29-33 expected.
  15. Was in Paisley FL today. Had a family get together. Dinner and beer by a fire. Made it up to about 50 degrees despite full sunshine. Wind has relaxed. Pretty much calm atm. Freezing warnings in affect. Projected low temp 32-33. Tradewinds posted above...I'm in orange county pretty close to lake county. I'm expecting temps around 30 or below.
  16. I remember that. My grandparents came up to NC from Fl. We were eating dinner kind of early that afternoon. Sitting there at the dinner table as the first flakes started. It snow good and hard over night. Ended up with about 6-7".
  17. That ULL cranking up. The trough was neutral several hours ago. But negative tilted now. Looking at WV mountain folks should be good for the night. Based on trajectory and timing don't expect anything frozen outside of the mountains.
  18. You can keep that shyt up there. Dont remind me. Light rain started about 30 mins ago. Not looking forward to it.
  19. I'll believe that when a 5 million dollar lottery ticket lands in my lap So far I'm striking out
  20. Pretty much non existent Once the trough axis swings through tonight
