  1. 2.6" near Arundel Mills. Had to tie up the grill to the deck earlier, it was getting a a bit frisky
  2. We've overplanted tomatoes and peppers once again this year and they're still prolifically producing. On our 4th batch of salsa and I need to go pick once again. My super-hots are finally ripening (Scorpion and Ghost chilis) so time for the hot stuff to be added in.
  3. It's also completely whiffed on the current line, whereas the 3k at least has something at 16z.
  4. Rumbly from the northern storms, ominous to the west.
  5. Yes, our neighborhood has 16 plots in the middle of a giant field so full sun. We've had ours for the last 4 yrs.
  6. Came back from Vacation to some monstrous zuchini
  7. My wife is doing the polar lunge at Sandy Point today. I do not envy her.
  8. Flurries, of neighbors recycling contents
  9. Sfc dewpoints on the HRRR are dropping into the upper 50s prior to the line. Granted, I haven't really looked at it much today but that seems a bit excessive.
  10. Having a violent coughing fit as soon as you take your first sip of coffee is a shit way to start the day. RIP curtains....
  11. If the cloud motions are indicative of where the front/storms will be focused, I would definitely include DC metro in the flood watch.
  12. Jessup, I need to update my locale.
  13. Getting some filtered sun now that I wasnt expecting ahead of this line
  14. Nothing like hunting down the chirping smoke detector only to find you have no 9-volts to cut down on the friday boredom. Also, it's raining.
  15. My boss and I (granted, neither of us are "forecasters" anymore) have been going back and forth as to where the wind WWA's are? seems like a ridiculous gradient and 50+ gusts are almost a slam dunk. Doesn't look to have a rocket of a LLJ for the real high stuff but would expect advisories out <24hrs out.
  16. I don't know, their Sunday forecasts in particular have been crap since about July sometime....
  17. It's starting to pick up more dry air intrusion on mid-levels and drying out the precip. Still a nasty ice storm locally, (freezing drizzle accumulates faster that FZRA+) but the heavy stuff is moving up the 95 corridor.
  18. They rarely dissapoint, and manor hill is right down the road. Easy to make use of an afternoon/evening
  19. I have joined @scraff if he is still here...
  20. Been snow-globing for a bit now. Nothing surviving on the surface but my deck table is enjoying a light coating.
