  1. Sleet in Walnut Cove (Southern Stokes County)
  2. She said it's turned to all rain now.
  3. My sister in Boiling Springs, SC just texted me and said it is snowing there with a temp of 43°
  4. Up to 40° here now with thin cloud cover starting to move in.
  5. 35° with the sun shining bright here in Southern Stokes County.
  6. I'm in Stokes County, so definitely north of 40. Although the last system we got gave Kernersville more than me.
  7. Walnut Cove. Rain. Not a sign of snow on any roof or anything. At my work in Kernersville about 18 miles away everything was covered and it was snowing hard. Amazing what a difference there is.
  8. 36° with some breaks in the clouds where I can see blue sky. Southeast Stokes County.
  9. I'm in Stokes County now trying to start my hobby farm. Lived in Kernersville from 1987 until a little over a year ago. We've only had one snow that covered the ground since moving here so I'm hoping for a decent one this year. Currently 39° and cloudy
  10. I'm on an Isla Mujeres group (after falling in love with the island) and thankfully they said there is very little damage. Mainly just limbs from trees and very little rain compared to past hurricanes.
  11. Yep. I was checking in a patient. The ceiling at the office I work at is all wood slabs (it looks like a log cabin) and it was shaking and creaking. We both just stood there staring up at it confused.
  12. Ground is already getting a good dusting and it's sticking to the trees.
  13. Very light snow just started falling here in Kernersville (between Winston and G-boro)
  14. Sleeting in Boiling Springs, SC. My sister just sent video.
  15. I understand ground and road temps may be up but with lows getting into the 20's, I do worry about slick roads Friday morning.
  16. Teeny, tiny flurries here in Stokes County.
  17. My aunt and uncle in Canton sent me these photos just now.
  18. We had brief, light sleet here in Kernersville about 30-40 minutes ago.
  19. Bright sunshine and 38 degrees here in Winston-Salem. Lol
  20. Been without power since 7am. Lots of trees and limbs down around us. The train actually hit a tree that had fallen across the tracks. Just a small tree and no damage to the train (it was going super slow) but they were out clearing the tracks. Duke Power said they don't know when our power will be back on. I would upload pictures but it keeps telling me they are too big? They are just iPhone photos.
