  1. Was just puking dendrites. Everything covered. Still snowing, but flakes not as great.
  2. Definitely.....I imagine you stay all snow during nearly all SWFEs?
  3. I'll take my chances with the Euro for Tuesday PM. Standard SWFE for my area 6-10" then drizzle. Euro absolutely croaks the chicken coups though.
  4. Congrats Jimmy......guy deserves it. I will gladly pass on this one and await my 6-10" from Tuesday PM SWFE that the Euro is advertising.
  5. Yeah we get the northern stream to lift out and the southern vort is actually a beast.....wagons west. Wonder if we see the southern vort trend stronger in guidance? The trend this season has been to under model the strength of vorts as they approach the east coast; even shredding them at times..
  6. What's the NAM & RPM rule again?!?! (joking) But admittedly it could probably be "Never trust either"
  7. Surface reflection and QPF not withstanding I thought the NAM & GFS looked nearly identical at 500 mb at a quick glance.
  8. Feel like the NAM has 1 more NW jog in it and maybe squeeze a little more QPF out of the atmosphere.
  9. Drink every time someone says Miller B?
  10. Yep. Hard pass on next weeks arctic outbreak for me.
  11. There is no way he originally drilled a hole that big
  12. Didn't measure but a foot sounds right. I'll give next weeks Euro bomb a chance then turn the page to golf season.
  13. Listening to the Superbowl on the radio in the dark by candlelight?
  14. Yeah....not that its not snowing, but we’ve definitely been sucking some form of exhaust.
  15. EPS still has hints of a day 7 storm. Euro Op certainly lost the beast of a miller A....but its still there. Something to watch.
  16. 22.5 F......overcast. ZZZZZZ (as I try to wait for later this afternoon)
  17. Assuming the operational guidance have the general idea correct....this is a funny looking system for our parts. Definitely not our traditional WAA transitioning to CCB set-up. It reminds me more of a great plains blizzard where the system gets so wound up and precipitation is focused into an intense 100 mile wide band. Except in this instance the band doesn't sit and rot over one spot, it continues its march north. If we want high end totals, then I think we want this thing to slip eastward rather than northeast ward. Keep the flow of Atlantic moisture for as long as possible. Otherwise it's really just a 8-12 hour thump. (which is still nice).
  18. If snow falls out of trees for 24 hours after a 24 hour storm....did it snow for 48 hours?
