  1. Just finished clearing the driveway while listening to Pats vomit all over themselves. Just perfect outside right now. Measures an even inch before clearing.
  2. Snowing better now than most of last Thursday.
  3. Joe B thinks snowmaggedon is coming. Well might as well start dusting off the golf clubs. Fairways will be green by MLK day.
  4. Positioning of these two vort maxes is way different than 18z GFS.
  5. I will not remember this storm after in a week.
  6. Used a yardstick so I could feel part of the group.
  7. I eye-balled like 5-6" when I cleared the driveway earlier. Nary a flake falling from the sky. Snow globe snow now. The 24-26th timeframe does look interesting.
  8. Ok. I'm over this bitch-ass storm. What's next? Christmas Eve?
  9. Just finished snowblowing. I would have guess 5-6". TIme to log off the forum for the day while everyone else cleans up.
  10. I will be telling my grandchildren about this subsidence zone.
  11. I was nose to the grindstone from 8 to 4 pm today and barely followed along. Just see a giant hole in PA where there supposed to be another 0.75” of precip.
  12. Ummmm....should we be concerned about this?
  13. Scooter’s convection going up off Virginia coast.
  14. Staring at the radar crossing fingers that those returns keep streaming north praying that the dry air doesn't win for too long.
  15. Nowcast: the Merrimack Valley porkage is going to be awesome to behold. Melts all up and down 495.
  16. Let's just start at 2-4" and be excited with 6"? Pete B says screw Ray's subsidence zone!
  17. I think one thing we can all be confident in is that this storm provides the first true melt of the season.
  18. Was just about to post that I was setting the over/under for my backyard at 3".
  19. Not really feeling this one. Afraid a lot of weenies expecting 12-18"+ are going to be disappointed when they have to settle for 8". A region wide 6-12" south of the pike with 4-8" from pike northward is kind of what I'm expecting. Haven't dug in deep enough to figure out what "northward" means.
  20. I think it also has to do with the societal impact of a 12" snowstorm these days. 12" of snow is meh when it comes to disrupting travel and life really beyond the timeframe of when it is actually snowing.
