  4. So I was just scrolling through only paying light attention and I thought you said you had a Bud Lite for lunch. I was thinking "Good for you. A celebration beer to kick off a nice wintry stretch" Then I read more closely. Nice picture though.
  5. 2.5" when I measured around 11:30 last night. 4.5" new this morning when I measured at 8:00. Still snowing when I left for work.
  6. Yeah. 1.5” here so far. I’d like some colder temps to freeze up the water some bit I’m just happy to be seeing some snow finally.
  7. That stuff never happens to me. Nice story though.
  8. You getting a hotel room or are you just going to find an empty parking lot and lay out naked next to your car?
  9. I just meant that there is not a lot of snow to be riding on yet. It’s different on a bike path or on a railbed like the LVRT. Once you get in the woods though, it’s a different story. Just like woods skiing. You need more snow than on the groomed trails.
  10. So I’m at 1250’. A mile and a half down the road in S.Barre where Hannaford is and where the access road to I-89 is, it’s 750’-800’. There is a noticeable difference, especially with marginal events. It’s the lowlands for this area.
  11. Well, when everything around you goes up to 1500’’-30000’ that’s low.
  12. Definitely and issue in sled country. Even northern Maine was hurting until that dump they got last week. This storm was enough for some hard core riders to get out but not enough to really groom yet in most of the state. Hopeful that we start building it a bit.
  13. Yeah but if if I say that at the beginning of the season and then only say “No changes” on my show each week, you’re not tuning in to watch, I’m adding nothing.
  14. Finally took the sleds off the trailer today. Had to put the stickers on and install a new battery in mine. Actually put about a mile and a half on packing the the bike path down across the street. Some idiots have actually been out riding. Has to be a bit rough.
  15. 1” new at the 11:00 cleaning. So 6.5” total. Probably lost some to compaction, it’s a pretty beefy snow. Nice to have a few wintry days.
  16. True but I’m worried about next week because there is no way I’m getting it fixed by then.
  17. There was 1.5” new on the board by the time I could measure around 4:30. Then there was a pretty heavy band that moved through while I was cleaning the driveway. Maybe another half inch in the last hour? I’m right around 6” for the event. Then my snowblower crapped out. The auger that throws it out the shute stopped turning. Ugh.

  19. Looks like another 1" or so since my morning measurement.
