  1. 32.9° for the low here. Took the potted plants in but I'm way too lazy to have a garden to worry about.
  2. Last week's cold snap resulted in some Spring Cold Snap Causes Extensive Crop Damage at Orchards, Vineyards
  3. You mean May, that you hype every year beginning in February as the start to severe season will fail to deliver again? Color me shocked.
  4. It was more pronounced on the 11:00 news radar shots but the dryslot that went up through a good portion of eastern VT would be noose worthy in winter. Below is The current screen grab.
  5. We just drove home from Littleton, NH and noticed the same. Tried not to hit any but I’m sure I squashed a few ☹️. About .40” here, rained much harder in NH.
  6. The brunt of it has been over the PGA Championship in Rochester all day.
  7. Starting to hit the ball a bit more consistently but I’m struggling off the tee with my irons on par 3s. I’ll start doing that better and then something else will go away. I’m still trying to learn the greens at my new course. Hopefully that comes with time. The weather looks tough at the PGA today. May keep scores in check. Scheffler is playing well. I sort of like the Canadian, Connors. I think Rory making birdie on 18 to get to even could be big for him.
  8. This will interest you. I just had a notification pop up that the governor of CT is lobbying Bettman to have the Coyotes relocate to Hartford.
  9. Well, it may not be our preferred genre but it’s solid pop music. And that’s something, the show is important too.
  10. It will be back. That stuff is almost impossible to kill.
  11. Wore my winter hat when I went for a walk on the bike path. Down to 30.2°/21.3°
  12. Same here. You can see the flakes on my grill cover. IMG_3415.jpg 49 KB
  13. But you got to drive through beautiful central NY!
  14. Too bad GM is stopping production of the Bolt. https://insideevs.com/news/664058/chevrolet-bolt-eveuv-discontinued-2023/
  15. After 20+ years as a member at my old course, I moved to a new one this year. It was a difficult decision. The old place had been member owned and I had been president. Tropical Storm Irene did a number on us and set us on a downward financial spiral, culminating in us selling to a private owner in 2020. I’m glad he’s kept it as a golf course but I don’t like the direction so it was time to move. The new place is 18 holes instead of 9 and you can’t beat the views.
  16. 33° for the low here. The sun hits early though and by the time I got out of bed at 7:30, I didn’t see any frost. Down to 42° already.
  17. The local 11:00 pm news just had a feature on no mow May. The people they interviewed were all encouraging it.
