That makes sense. I’ve had a pretty good week up here. Not epic miles for a lot of guys but nearing 600 for the four days of riding I’ve had with one more to go tomorrow. Huge group today, 36 sleds. We rode from Limestone to Portage. People from as far away as Nova Scotia and western NY.

@WinterWolfdo you leave your sled up at the place you’re renting in St.Agatha or trailer it every time you go up?

Because it was in a garbage can lid?

Got warm up here today. 35°. The snow is still good though.

The locals say the snow started later than usual but they've made up some ground. I tool the top one for @Ginx snewx. I know how he loves the drift pics. With the giant fields, some of the drifts are crazy. The other one is overlooking Long Lake.

Got here about 6:30.

Wait till I start taking pictures up her in Caribou. The people who own the inn told me it they didn't really start getting snow until about 3 weeks ago. They've made up for lost time a bit.

17° and light snow in Caribou, well, I'm actually staying in Limestone on the old Loring Air Base. Very wintry. 8 hour ride. Going east/west in NNE is never easy.

Lol. I know I couldn't tent for 5 days. Just looking at the people in the rain and the mud gave me the shivers. It was good to see Lemmy perform.

@Cold Miser I feel like I took a tour of your musical world tonight. First I watched the Waken Festival documentary. I’ve seen stuff about it before but it looks totally crazy. I’m just a fringe metal guy anyway, more of a hard rock type. Looks fun though if I was 30 years younger. Next I watched Rammstein in Amerika. Not overly familiar with them but the doc was very good. Seeing them arrested in Worcester in 1999 for a performance the year before was something. Not sure I could be a fan but I like the art aspect of what they do and the fearlessness of it.

That would be my guess. I’m a few miles from there an about 150’ higher but there generally isn’t a big difference. It stood out yesterday for the first time I can really remember.

The KMPV reading of -13 sticks out like a sore thumb. I had -21 and I'm not that far away.

-21 for my low. KMPV only got down to -15. They’re ant usually that much of a difference between me and them. They seemed a few degrees warmer than any of the surrounding PWS sites all day yesterday. Not sure if it’s an issue or just the way it worked out with this air mass.

Maybe not, it ticked back down to -19.4

I think the drop is over. Up .3 from the low.

I'm not sure I'd buy anything else.
