  1. The line seems to have hit the spine of the greens and broke up a bit. I was able to get 9 holes in between 5:00 and 6:30 or so. Heard some rumbles but no rain and no lightning until we were finishing up. It’s rained but not incredibly heavy rates here at least. I’ve gotten about .50.
  2. Why is BTV showing me the conditions for San Angelo, TX? I couldn't believe how hot it was up at the airport, seemed much cooler here.
  3. Yeah lots of those type stories. My boss left her house in Montpelier and had to walk through the woods behind her house. Luckily she had moved her jeep to higher ground earlier in the day. Spent the night in her Jeep.
  4. Going to have to change the title of this thread to "July 9th - ?? significant flood event"
  5. Lol. I don't have twitter so I can't see the comments or other stuff. And I only know him in passing.
  6. I'd say its probably in line with elsewhere. I don't but I'm nowhere near a flood zone.
  7. I know Paul Bean. His grandfather owned a Chevy dealership and was member at the golf course I played at. Good kid.
  8. Lol. Dr. Chill sounds like a weed strain.
  9. @dendritethe paw paw farm still stands. Drove past it tonight.
  10. Yes. I just came back from buying a dehumidifier up at the Williston Home Depot. The fields all the way up looked like lakes. It looked like there were about 15 cars in the park and ride. A couple of them were parked on a tiny corner that looked like it may have saved them from being completely submerged.
  11. This is a brand new bridge on the LVRT in Hardwick.
  12. Rt. 14 between Woodbury and Hardwick.
  13. My boss lives here. She left her house last night and had to go through the woods. She had moved her Jeep earlier in the day just in case. The water was knee deep on the first floor of her house when she left. She made it to her Jeep and had to spend the night in it. She thinks her house might be a total loss.
  14. Wrightsville Dam was built in response to the 1927 flood. There were a couple of others built as well in response to that flood, Little River in Waterbury and the East Barre Dam, not far from me. I expect they are all pretty full. https://vtdigger.org/2023/07/11/montpelier-warns-that-wrightsville-dam-could-spill-over-imperiling-city/
  15. Received another 1.14" since midnight. 8.26" total.
  16. My boss is stuck in her truck in Montpelier on a street above the flooding. She can’t really go anywhere. There are also about 100 cars stuck in I-89 between exits 7 and 9.
  17. Police officer in Barre trying to get someone to safety.
  18. It’s alright to remember as long as we don’t have any more “brave little state” songs.
  19. Up to 6.5” now. How come these crazy model totals never come to fruition like this in winter and how come I’m never near the jackpot like this in winter either? One more cliche, can you imagine if it were only 35° colder?
  20. I'm up to 6.33 since it started yesterday. Water seemed to stop coming up out of the floor drain. I wet vacced as much as I could and will probably be at it tomorrow some more. This sucks.
