  1. The local 11:00 pm news just had a feature on no mow May. The people they interviewed were all encouraging it.
  2. "By the Way" might be my favorite Chili Peppers song. Something about the feel of the slower parts contracted with the faster parts has always been really gotten me going.
  3. And you're still able to post? Way to fight through!
  4. 31° for the low here. Didn't see any frost but it was sunny and warmer by the time I got up at 7:30
  5. We used to as well, then our storage popped a leak. Replaced it with a hybrid electric water heater. That works well. We use less oil and the heat pump acts as a dehumidifier.
  6. 31° for the low here. My boiler stays on year round. I turned it off one summer and the seals all dried out and it started leaking all over the basement floor. The thermostat is off when the windows are open but I closed them last night and set the temp to 64°. It didn't feel like the radiators were warm so the house didn't get too chilly.
  7. See, the prophecy that BrianW just mentioned is coming true!
  8. RIP Gordon Lightfoot https://www.cbc.ca/news/entertainment/gordon-lightfoot-dead-1.6828991
  9. Wow. We have .97" since yesterday.
  10. Just glad to see that you're still with us. I was worried about you.
  11. I would like to express my sincere condolences to all the Bruins fans. A record setting season snuffed out in the first round. I can’t really do that though. As a Canadiens fan all I can do is laugh.
  12. @dendriteplanted a little bit of white clover doing some winter damage repair on my lawn today. If it takes, I hope to do more of my lawn.
  13. We even saw a little sun. I even thought about going to the golf course to do some chipping and putting. When it came time to shut down, it was pouring buckets and the temp had dropped to 41. I did end up going down to Montpelier and walking the bike path after dinner. So all wasn’t lost.
  14. A few years ago, when we went out to Vegas, we went to the pinball hall of fame. That was really cool. Just a huge warehouse with arcade games dating way back to the early 20th century. You could play them all too. I’m not even a huge pinball or arcade guy but I loved it.
  15. @backedgeapproachinghas been holding out on us.
  16. Don’t drive 3 hours north.
  17. I bet you wish you had installed, don't you?
  18. 0.44" today and 2.29" since yesterday. I guess we will be getting May flowers?
  19. I have a WS-7078 that my wife got me for Christmas a couple of years ago. I like it and it seems to be pretty accurate. The batteries have a decent lifespan.
  20. So you're saying you don't appreciate good ole Yankee ingenuity?
  21. It looks like 1.90" will be it for the first round of misery. This week looks no bueno.
