  1. Yeah, m closing in on 2” so it’s a little better than I thought it would be. Like you, I’m not looking forward to the rain.
  2. One of my biggest regrets when my parents got sick and passed in 2015 was that I couldn’t get them back up here. I trust Dartmouth or UVMMC much more than the hospitals they were at in GA and FL.
  3. I’m a UGA fan so it works for me.
  4. Our winter has performed about as well as TCU has tonight.
  5. There will only be 5 a day from what I’ve heard.
  6. I believe he lives as close, if not closer to New England than metfan does. I think he’s in Lake George, NY.
  7. Not really a nightmare. For most it’s not an inexpensive hobby though.
  8. The outlook has been so bad I haven’t even put my stickers on any of the sleds or put the new battery in mine yet. It’s just been too depressing to do anything with them at all.
  9. Which is what we all really want anyway.
  10. Well I’ll be jiggered! It’s snowing out and the ground is white! It can still snow in Vermont in January!
  11. I’m supposed to go to Caribou the first week of February so I’m hoping things start picking up.
  12. No riding in New England at all is there? Nothing south of the St. Lawrence?
  13. You think this helps or just makes people think all is well and the drought is over?
  14. That guy seems to live for posting negative comments in any New England thread he can find. It gets pretty tiresome.
  15. Thanks for the well wishes everyone. I’m feeling much better now. Seems like December was a blur, bracketed by a kidney stone at the begin inning and the resultant infection at the end. Just a mess. Sort of like how this winter is playing out.
  16. I noticed some of the same stuff driving to my office in Waterbury. In narrower parts of the valley, the cool held on and then the temp would jump up where the valley was more broad
  17. Been out of the loop this week. I ended up in the ER Monday with a kidney infection and have not been checking in on weather at all. Seems like the ski areas have actually done ok this week after last Friday. Even today must be a good day to be on the slopes. Nothing great looking going forward, at least from the BTV point and click. I'm going to spare myself the drama and hadwringing from a week of missed posts out in the main NE forum and just mark them all read.
  18. It’s 35.8° colder today that it was at this time yesterday.
  19. I was watching WCAX news this morning and when the weather guy was in you could see the Jay area had persistent snow over it. I was thinking that was the famous Jay cloud.
  20. That’s about when I noticed it too. Looks like about an inch of snow and down to 28°
