  1. Looks like I spoke a bit soon. The US made a little bit of a comeback towards the end and are 6.5-3.5, which is the same 3 points they were down at the end of day 1. However at one point in the back 9 it looked like they could have lost all 5 points today. The most interesting President’s Cup in years.
  2. I dunno, I sorta like that look.
  3. Resurrecting this thread for the President’s Cup. Currently the US is getting whacked around by the Internationals. Not sure what to make of it. I don’t think Tiger made bad captain’s picks and he’s played well. They’re just getting it taken to them. I love the course though. I’ve watched the Australian Open a couple of times and love Royal Melbourne as a course. Playing those Sandbelt courses someday is definitely a bucket list item for me.
  4. Since you have already killed winter with your sled purchase, then obviously I should just go ahead and get a new one too. Might as well get it during an already killed winter rather than risk killing it myself next season! My wife will be thrilled when I tell I have to get a new one this year.
  5. Boy, you have just been a ray of sunshine lately!
  6. And there aren't enough people that get impacted.
  7. Nothing at all down here. I was expecting a little rain/mix.
  8. I upgraded to oxen several months ago.
  9. That snow machine even got over this way. It snowed for most of the morning and stayed cloudy just about all day. Not as much as you guys got but wintry appeal ruled the day.
  10. Had a very New Englandy evening. Went and bought my wife some new boots for Christmas and then went to the quintessential New England town of Hanover, NH for a Cornell/Dartmouth hockey game. Walking through the town to the rink with fresh snow and cold temps felt old timey New England holiday to me. Oh and for Will and OceanSt. who I believe are both Cornell alums, Dartmouth took down the #2 in the nation Cornell Big Red 2-1.
  11. Flow must be unblocked. Snowing here too. I don’t think it was forecast.
  12. Nice. Is the same one that you had done on your own before? Looks like a nice upgrade. Maybe some of those plastic privacy slats or some artificial hedge braid like this https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-2541094/national-tree-company-instablock-artificial-hedge-fence-braid.jsp?skuid=27725474&ci_mcc=ci&utm_campaign=DECOR&utm_medium=CSE&utm_source=google&utm_product=27725474&CID=shopping15&utm_campaignid=174293612&pid=googleadwords_int&af_channel=CSE&gclid=CjwKCAiA8qLvBRAbEiwAE_ZzPRlGr1bfrV9bg2PRkfNbcgreT3LmCByPZ3SRJBodv9fp8lI_KgVmDhoC_4AQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  13. Looks like the blocked flow let up a bit. Noticeable snow has started here in downtown MPV in the last few minutes. Small flakes and the roads are getting covered.
  14. Think they get 31" this time?
  15. That radar makes the spine look like an absolute wall lol. Of course for the most part its is this morning. A very light dusting on the car this morning and just a stray flurry here and there on the way in to work.
  16. I can’t remember exactly when my local cable system got TWC but it was like 87 or 88. I remember visiting friends who went to UVM but lived off campus. We got back to their place and I remember passing out on their couch with it on TV. Even in my liquored up, foggy condition I was immediately hooked. Every time I would visit I would turn it on if I had the chance. Watching Local on the 8’s while playing beer pong before hitting the bars. Needless to say, it wasn’t a chick magnet. Lol
  17. Be nice to get snowmobiling up there. You guys have great trails I’ve wondered about the trails in that area. I love that part of Maine and have camped there several times over the years.
  18. Cherish these times. By the time they are 15 like my boy, the surly teenager mood dominates any time they actually have to do a chore. He still loves snow, just doesn’t like to do anything his parents ask him to.
  19. Hope everything is ok Gene. At least you are at a top notch facility.
  20. I was pretty surprised. Went to bed to a few flurries, woke up around 3:30 and it looked like the car had been coated but nothing surprising and then woke up to plows going by. Stepped out on the deck that had been cleanly shoveled and poked the tape measure into 4". My colleague who lives in Elmore said Rt. 12 through Worcester Woods was clear until just outside Montpelier. Pretty localized I guess.
  21. Just remember for all the SNE giddiness over the current storm (rightful giddiness, I may add) PF always gets his in the end.
  22. I was just kidding him about his parents not clearing for their measurement. JSpin is probably the most meticulous snow measurer there is.
  23. You should bring them up and have JSpin give them a snow measuring seminar. Complete with coring for LE section
