  1. .70" according to the Ambient. Hopefully it's not another 3 weeks before the next one.
  2. 28 will probably do it here. Annoying and rather impressive for the date.
  3. 41/25 here, with a 38 just up the road at slightly lower elevation. Still the lightest of breezes preventing the bottom from falling out just yet.
  4. Luckily, my windows were already closed on account of the pollen. It's a wonder anyone can breathe this time of year.
  5. 34 this morning. Thursday morning looks like a lock for 30-31 imby
  6. 35 for a low. Had to head out early and hoping no issues with the annuals I've already planted. 35 can get dicey at ground level.
  7. 90 here already. It's a shame we couldn't extend this one more day for a first half of April heat wave in spots.
  8. Summerlike temps perfectly coinciding with peak flowering bulbs and trees has really been an experience. Almost makes a person reconsider their disdain for spring as a concept.
  9. And touched 90.0 before back down to 89. It still feels reasonably comfortable thanks to the breeze and low dews.
  10. Ended up with a slightly smaller swing than yesterday (33/73 today), despite the launch sequence in the first couple hours after sunrise. Lousy afternoon clouds. Had to water my garlic today
  11. 30-degree diurnal swing already achieved for the day.
  12. Can zoom/pan this map and get interactive data https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/map/2024-april-8
  13. Like hell they will. The Thruway will be Arlo Guthrie levels of blocked if the weather looks good. After seeing what I-81 was like in the relative middle of nowhere in 2017, I'm fully convinced that if you're not positioned upstate 2 days ahead of time, you're just not gonna get there from downstate.
  14. Seeing some lightning flashes from that little cell over Candlewood Lake
  15. 66 today. I got peepers for the first time
  16. Yeah, 26.8" here which is just about 50% of average.
  17. 1 day of chilly drizzle underway, 59 to go!
  18. Sneaky chilly morning here at 18F. Makes me extra glad the power came back on yesterday.
  19. Just speaking for my yard, I can't imagine having reported anything other than the 24 hour max depth during this particular event... and even that was a rather fleeting high-water mark, obtained only by watching the board like a hawk. But my final total was 9.0", with the core melted down to 1.52" for a 6:1 storm SLR.
