  1. Perfect. I was told you never want to be in the bullseye a week out.
  2. I haven't seen any flakes here (600'). Pretty nasty weather on the whole.
  3. Today would have been a great track with a little deeper and more distinct low. Hopefully the Christmas Eve system is similarly tucked.
  4. Speaking of unwanted light... it's blinding out there today with the full sun on the dry, cold snowcover. Shield-your-eyes type stuff.
  5. Seem to have leveled off at 14 for now after an impressive descent earlier in the evening. Just the slightest breeze picking back up as I watch for Geminids. Beautifully clear night... shame about the moon coming up to wash out the fainter meteors.
  6. They never do, but you got as close as one could hope for. Nice shots.
  7. 2.1" will probably do it. I was hoping for 2" all week, and I got there. Makes the lights look real nice.
  8. Well, maybe. Drying on radar looks rather final.
  9. About an inch here. Pavement is still just wet in most areas in my 'hood, but that should change pretty quickly as night goes on.
  10. Look on the bright side... it won't be this warm again until 12/25
  11. Crappy patterns make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Everyone shares equally in the misery and there are no winners and losers. Take a storm like Boxing Day, and 6 out of 10 people are disappointed, but their commiseration is smothered by the rejoicing of the other 4. *Our* suffering, comrade.
  12. Too close for comfort. Gotta dig a deeper pit for my thermometer to sit in.
  13. 20.8F this morning. Sets the stage nicely for the coming rains.
  14. My growing season actually ended pretty early, notwithstanding the summer-like highs sprinkled throughout the fall. 10/19 was the killing freeze for most stuff. #fakecold strikes again.
  15. I'm pretty mad that my hard-won positive departures are gonna be completely erased for the month
  16. Once again wishing the AC were still in. 68/67F
  17. Yeah, dew is down about 15 points so far to 75/50 now. Feels weird to be doing lights in this weather.
  18. Never dropped below 60 last night. Wild, wild stuff for November.
  19. nice 71 here. I wonder if I'm not running just a hair warm lately, but 70 at the Dover mesonet means probably not by much.
  20. Should easily top 70F again today. As the bottom continues to fall out with averages, these kinds of days are quickly becoming rather extraordinary. Garlic and daffodils sprouting, lawn growing, bullfrogs and crickets singing in the evenings.
