outstanding!!! i may have missed out on the good goods, but happy with over a foot for the whole event... but this is awesome looking. i think the last time I got more than 16" in one event was March a couple years ago.maybe we are starting winter off on the good foot

well, forecast thru Tuesday morning was for 12-16" here...and thanks to last night we have met that total... looking like the backside is approaching, but a solid 7-8 inches out there from about 6 last night... good times

choking flakes for the last hour and a half, about 3" new since we started back up again... actually better than last night right now, maybe my 10 is in reach...vis about 1/4 mile but dropped below an 1/8 for a spell.

some of the totals from earlier were incredible, nice stripe of 20+ from Bennington to Utica, about.. back to SN+ here, hope it can last long enough for a few more inches.had 5.8 here first 24 hours...4.2 gets me my 10

yeah it's definitely been pounding in East ny since yesterday morning.. off topic, only drawback to my ambient weather station is the anemometer is too close to the precip cup, and when snow piles up, it gets hung up, need to clean constantly.

4.8" avg after about 10 measurements, blower just crapped the bed too, right when I finished... really never stopped snowing here, albeit light, with the occasional burst of fatties, but very nice winter scene out there... congrats east folks, looks like you're going to have the goods with this one...i said I'd be happy with 6" this time of year, we'll see what happens with round 2.

the plow literally just came by, was thinking that too... first plow of the event on my street... it's coming down maybe we get another strike, dynamic it is!

it's absolutely pouring snow last 30 minutes, very little sleet, pleasantly surprised, hopefully that line continues it's retreat south

absolutely, past few hours have been fun to watch... visibility going from zilch to almost clear back, I'm full snow now, cat paws have become nice pile up dendrites, amazing mix of ptype today... thank God no rain tho

flip flop from the absolute biggest cat paws I've ever seen to heavy snow and heavy pingers, crazy line tip toeing

i am switching back and forth between heavy pingers and wet snow, kinda cool to watch the vis come and go, 2.5 before any taint, now hoping round 2 delivers the goods because round 1 wasn't what I was expecting...

still all snow and growth is great right now... eyeballing 3" down

really ripping for the last hour, about 2" down now, vis still under my 1/4 mile marker, paws and chutes have been replaced by normal growth flakes again. just beautiful!

about an inch down, picked up from a little lull... took a drive down RT 8 to Waterbury where it was grains and grap, but straight snow here since about 1330... about a mile vis, not the greatest growth but white nonetheless, welcome winter!

still nothing, wind has picked up a bit.. sitting at...25/14... looking at the Thruway cameras, looking like it's pounding just west of here into the finger lakes region.
