  4. Father took five measurements, average 16.5" storm total...NWS ALY has reports of 16.5 in New Milford and 14 in Torrington, but at 7am.looks just over a foot in Boxboro, but I did not measure with anything, about the same in Marlboro, can anyone close confirm? Looks like my house missed the real goods by about 50 miles, but completely satisfied with 16+...my call of 12-20 statewide for CT looks good except for the SWCT area, looks like they got a bit screwed, but still ended up with a good amount. Awesome start to the season, for my back yard at least, only had 5" from the first two events.
  5. Wife is saying 17+ at the house in Winsted...I have not been out yet in Marlboro, but it looks like around a foot, maybe less, hard to tell lot of drifting.
  6. was just going to say, just started at the hotel in marlboro...wife says a couple inches in Winsted
  7. Rippin Austin Rd Cam I84 Waterbury...
  8. What is a better radar site, intellicast has gone the way of WU, and it is not great tbh anymore...what's the one you guys are always posting here? TIA
  9. You got infrared on that? What brand did you buy, and is it solar& wifi? Only thing I don't like about the one I got is I have to connect to the 2G wifi of my router, instead of the 5G option I usually use. but cannot wait to use it, 360 swivel, and 150 degree eye zone.
  10. Wife says first flakes in Winsted 1940 hrs...looking at CTDOT cams, appears to be ripping pretty good in Danbury and on the 95 corridor...I had to buy a new weather station and got a warranty discount, so I bought a solar wifi camera, but did not have time to install before I came up here for work, wish I did, would like to look at my home and do time lapse etc...can't wait to get it up. 21/13 in Winsted 23/9 here in Marlboro
  11. ALY seems to agree with the W Catskills jackpot as well.
  12. I'm happy with that...even though I am not home to enjoy it
  13. 23/0 at the home in Winsted...23/1 here in Boxborough, staying in Marlboro for this one, wish I could head home because I thinks my house is in a sweet spot for some good banding...Good luck all, enjoy, we needed this after the last two years, well some of us anyway...
  14. yeah, it takes me an hour to get to bport from my house, 2 hr philly drive my ass...and I kinda consider all of fairfield county a part of nyc, maybe not north fairfield county but definitely south, and sw.
  15. I do both usually, just to compare, but what is the official measurement requirements now, spotter training was 6hr clearing last I knew
  16. final total in Winsted..= 1" of paste that vanished hours ago, five miles away in Norfolk, about 4-5"... unreal, congrats on those jackpot areas, I'll be seeing it tomorrow!
  17. where's the cutoff from RN to SN, around the 128 corridor? just curious if those returns are accurate on WU...i flipped at 9, nothing stuck, above 1k it was paste of 3-4" on 219 in barkhamsted, now I'm back to drizzle at 34... wasn't expecting much here, but going to boxboro tomorrow morning so looking forward to seeing some fresh white.
  18. we've been on the edge of flipping here for about an hour, actually started to accumulate slush in the wet spots, good sign? think my house is too far nw for any goods, but I'll be in marlboro/boxboro tomorrow so yeah
  19. figures I'm traveling to marlboro for two weeks on Sunday, looking like jackpot zone around there
  20. about 2" down, but radar looks to be shredding west of here, so I'm not expecting any more than another inch, pavement other than a few spots is plain wet as well.
  21. man, I was supposed to be up there this week too but, ya know... corona and all...
  22. just shy of 5" now pingers, nice little spring storm...i hear just north of me it's pouring snow in the berks, anyone confirm this, I heard close to 8" otg at least
