I drive up 287 from where I am to Pearl River NY a couple days a week for work and the colors have been amazing. Nice shot!

Weather has been great for solar panels. I should easily break my october solar output even with a 12 year old system.

When is eventually? Its needs to go on a lot longer for that to happen. If it was summer it would be a lot worse, but now it means pretty much nothing other than some people need to water gardens and a heightened risk of a forest fire.

Exactly. Reservoir levels are at average to date, so not really going to complain about perfect weather.

That sucks. I had an electric fence for my dog put in years ago and saved all the little flags that they originally put in for training, so when I seed I put those out around the areas for that exact reason.

Wow, Duke park down to 27. I saw those temps around that area on the Ambient App. Were there any freeze warnings up?

It "could" also be totally wrong for winter. His post means absolutely nothing. It isn't a forecast or anything, its a snapshot with the word "could." He "should" have some balls and make an actual call. But if you ask him, he will block you

I'm guessing a lot of storms back then were stronger than they were actually measured. Now we have tons of flights going in, much better satellite images, tons of chasers, many more stations and way more ways to measure storms as they are happening. A lot of tech happened in 50 years time to get better measurements.

Its doing a decent job getting some of those leaves down. temp only got 1 degree warmer than forecast here.
