  1. Being inland a bit helped, as that late season surge got me to just 2" below average.
  2. Upper 30s possible in NNJ to maybe 70 in SNJ. Crazy. If it is dry, bring it. Wouldn't mind smoking some ribs and maybe drinking one the summer beers that are in the back of the beer fridge.
  3. Does that come with rain, or is it dry, haven't had time to look
  4. Thank you for that last sentence. I feel like all I hear about 95% of the time is the MJO and forecasters weight that at about the same rate. 95% mjo, 5% everything else.
  5. Interesting, I was born almost exactly 9 months after this storm...hmmmm I think people kind of forget about the 2006 storm is because it melted in like 2 days if I remember correctly. 93-94 is my second fav winter. Wish though I could have enjoyed it more as a 9th grader though. My father was sick from cancer, and passed on March 31, 1994. I remember one storm, it being 17 degrees and it pouring freezing rain. My brother and I were so ticked off. All the ice and snow though lead to near constant snow cover it seemed.
  6. Some years they are 85% right, others not so much like last year. I wouldn't worry too much. It is what it is.
  7. I'm not that far from you, and I got 3.75. I feel like the final snow total map is off slightly in our area.
  8. Had about 30 minutes worth of flurries/light snow earlier. Went from 50 to now 33.
  9. For the 80s, did NYC just miss out on some storms? I found this for Rutgers, and it looks like they actually averaged slightly more in the 80s than the 90s. For my own measurements (aided by RU until 1987), I had the 80s at 27.89 vs 27.02 for the 90s, so practically a wash.
  10. Good stuff guys and good luck Ralph. Plus, you both are in my top 10 list of favorite tv characters.
  11. I'm in Neshanic, but closer to the elementary school. Never lost power. Yeah, 52 was the highest I recorded.
  12. Hey, same town. There was a fire from a downed line. Saw pics on a Branchburg FB page.
  13. The line was pretty awesome for 5 minutes. Had a 52 mph gust with it.
  14. In the long range all summer it showed multiple times Philly getting over 100 only to verify about 8 degrees cooler. They track it over at another board.
  15. I'm sure you wouldn't get great odds though, so you wouldn't make much.
  16. .05 with the shower that just went through. Matched yesterdays total haha.
  17. Around 430 this morning I had probably the best lightning/thunder show of the season so far. Came with .47" of rain.
  18. Averaged 78.0 here and had 4.63" for the month. Hit 100.4 as the high point for the month and had a low of 59.4 for the coolest low.
