  4. Yeah it was Ash Wednesday. Hammered the Shenandoah valley with 2-3 feet of smow
  5. I think it may have been Tony Kornheiser who gave him the name. He was a humor columnist for the post back then as well and used to rip Bob all the time. I can’t imagine they’d be on speaking terms if they met now.

  15. I lived in a good spot for the rgem in 2021. It was only off by 45 inches. I will never again respect it
  16. I was in college living in Lynchburg for the Jan 2000 event. It was a surprise there too. One of my friends left his dorm window open that night and woke up with a good bit of snow in his bed. Danville and South Boston had 12-16 inches. In Lynchburg we had 9-10 inches.
  17. I was still living In Winchester in 2016 and it was more snow there then 96, 2010 or 2003. Feb 83 may have been closer to 2016. I was almost 3 years old for that one and can barely remember it but my dad said it was close to 3 feet of snow also in Frederick county VA.
