I don’t recall dogs eating fruit/veggies when I was a kid but it seems rather popular these days. Is it possible I was even more clueless as a kid than now?

Looks like the smoke will be around in varying intensities for at least the next two days.

The smoke is back up here now, a very distinct odor. Visibility at KMGJ is currently 3 miles.

Yeah, no. The back ain't broken, or do I consider this "a shot across the bow". Do people call the January thaw a shot across the bow? I have no idea...on this as well as many, many other subjects.

A delightful 57 for the low here, guess this is kinda like the summer equivalent to the January thaw.

Kinda looks like the Black Prince tomato, which is one that I’ve grown before. The wife has a black cherry tomato this year but we are still waiting as that was the one plant that was attacked twice by something, we think a bird.
