    It’s that time of year again when you read comments on a model run then you look at that run yourself and then you say “What the hell are they talking about?!”

    I haven’t looked at timing of the storm to see how early she may want to leave, ideally avoid the precip altogether but yeah, 17 can be pretty sketchy and isolated in spots in bad weather.

    Yeah, we punt Nov, punt Dec, maybe the second half of Jan MAY produce something....really we should just punt the entire winter and see what we can do in winter 20-21. It’s over.

    Hey, glad to see you stop by! I was just updating my monthly numbers and realized that I’m going to finish November with below normal snowfall, winter cancel My November average is only 1.3”...my December average is 8.8”, I’m hoping at least December with be above average after the first few days. I agree, this could be a fun few days incoming.

    Violently agree, I wasn’t saying it’s necessarily a good thing that the info is more readily available. My wife is a teacher and yesterday she texts me “Did you see some sites are saying 13” in the Hudson Valley this weekend?” (Shut up @BxEngine ) To which I replied it was irresponsible for sites to be posting/mentioning that to a public that doesn’t have a clue. It’s a constant battle that any of us who know a little something have to deal with at work and with friends especially this time of year.

    Another factor I believe is how readily available the weather models are now on multiple sites and social media platforms so folks can just look at them on their own. Back in the day more people came to whichever board to find out what the latest runs show and the fewer folks who had access then we’re glad to provide the fix. How much for Philly?
