  1. Easily some of the heaviest snow I’ve ever seen on 12/11/19...1.1” on the board goes into the annals.
  2. So it wasn’t puking snow there? You didn’t get crushed or destroyed either? Please advise.
  3. 47 here currently and also 3” at the stake, and agree about next week. We take.
  4. The same temp here and snow at the stake. Still slick in spots on the driveway from earlier.
  5. I hate having to use some rock salt this morning knowing what’s coming later. Sitting at 34 currently with ice spots still around the house.
  6. Oh yeah. I remember DT going off on me calling me a liar during a storm back then, claimed there was no way I had snow falling at my location. It’s a heck of a lot easier nowadays to share a photo as needed LOL
  7. I started with ne.weather on AOL back around 97 or 98. Then I remember Wright Weather, then Eastern, then here.
  8. Those were indeed fun days on the boards but the community was much smaller then. To your point, I can’t imagine that again today.
  9. My forecasted low was 10, made it to 7.
  10. 7” at the stake this morning so it’s been a nice streak...too bad it has to end.
  11. Saw your post and said “That son of a bitch!” Thought the streak may have ended here yesterday...but no, flurries here as well currently. Mark me up on the big board for 7 days in a row as well.
  12. Had you met your old lover in the grocery store as well? You’re too young to get that reference but someone on here will. LOL
  13. You expect people to look at models runs all by themselves?!
  14. To your point, 1.85" of LE for me from the storm, 9" at the stake this morning.
  15. My snow has settling down to 11" at the stake this morning.
  16. 93-94 might still be my favorite winter for the reasons mentioned above. Although we did better up here in the March 93 blizzard, 93-94 was a wall to wall old fashioned winter in comparison to decade plus of crap leading up to that winter.
  17. I would argue March 2017, at least it was IMBY. Some of he most intense wind driven snow I had ever witnessed...and then the dry slot reached my area which capped me at 20.0", could've been much more.
  18. I don't know how folks define HECS these days but here's the link: https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/snow-and-ice/rsi/nesis
  19. Who leaves snow piled on the steps next to the door like that? Is this amateur hour?
  20. So if anyone wonders where their nostalgia posts went if they leave this thread check the Memory Lane thread. Good stuff all around.
  21. Yeah, I was thinking that too as the powdery cleanup this morning was MUCH easier that the wet icy clean up from yesterday.
  22. Still set up the backyard ice rink at the new location?
