    That measurement was from one of my extra boards I threw down in a spot that in hindsight is not located all that well, my wife’s car is likely blocking it a bit. My other board is out further in the open yard, didn’t wonder down there.

    Was going to post this in the other thread but then the weenies who have no concept of geography would either call me a liar or think that I was referring to their own back yard...Euro has us flirting with 0 or slightly below Saturday morning.

    Violently agree. Right in my hood NYS 416 can get some serious drifting, NYSDOT will be pushing the banks back for days.

    What JC said, which is much more eloquent than I what I can say which is its always a nowcast IMO as there are so many nuances with storms like this. Part of the reason I got.4” in one of those busts up here was that I was stuck in subsidence as a heavy band dumped snow about 10 miles to my south. Where those areas set up always comes down to nowcasting.
