Friday's storm trending south-northern parts of the area get very little now....

the biggest positive anomolies were in July for sure with close to 100 degree heat around 7/20 or so....

pea/marble size hail here-covered the ground-2nd biggest "snowcover" of the season!

Looks like we warm up nicely starting Sunday-temps in the 60's.

alot more sunny days this year vs last. It's cool, but if the sun's out it feels warmer and it does alot for the pysche during these trying times.

not much cold has made it to the east coast even with the -NAO, seems alot different than last year which had rains/clouds/chilly weather relentlessly

in other news, the Euro continues with its theme of killing the MJO in phase 2, so we'll get back to the torch in no time

waves of squalls and high winds here. Rainfall amounts are impressive locally. Over 2 inches and counting.

might see the cold next week for a few days as the trough moves east, but it will modify as it comes east so the -departures are not as robust as the midwest. Weeklies show us warming again by 4/22 give or take.

GEFS shows most of the big cold well west of us like the Euro Ensembles

can't make it up....however looking at the Euro ensembles most of the cold air ends up in the moutain west/midwest-we end up a few degrees below normal but not the -10 that you're seeing out that way
