  1. That particular member has 2-4 feet in the interior portions of SNE on north, alot less toward the coast....
  2. EPS member 30 would work out pretty well around here...That would easily put me above normal by the end of the 15 day period, Grazed on the 17th and destroyed around the 21st....Storybook ending to a garbage winter for SNE
  3. Looks like I will finally get above freezing, it hasn't been there since Monday afternoon....not bad for March down here. 28.2 already, torch incoming!
  4. Seriously, where was this in Jan/Feb?
  5. That's like 4-6 here, lol...1-2 maybe, inching our way to average it seems
  6. 3.2 degrees at the moment with 8-10 inches of snow on the ground in shady areas. Where was this in Jan/Feb?...I'm ready for Spring!
  7. Let's get one big storm that dumps the rest of Canada's cold air into the US along with it enough snow to put all of us at or above average for the season. Followed by a permanent shift into spring. Is that too much to ask?
  8. I mean the fact that the white plywood won't hold heat like driveways or even the warm soggy grass. That board started "accumulating" even before the railings of my deck or my patio table...Every little bit counts, right? lol
  9. I have a snow board that is 3/4" plywood, painted white that I will place in different locations depending on the potential winds of a storm. Last night I had the board on my back porch. I cleared the board after 6.5 hrs (4.8")...I woke up this morning and checked it at 7:10, It was at 8.5" on one side and 7.8" on the other side. I would assume this is due to the wind, not knowing what the actual number was I averaged the number and went with 8.15" + 4.8" = 12.95" total. Finding lots of numbers around the property of 12 and 13, i decided to call it 13"....It does seem high compared to other numbers, but there are so many variables to take into consideration...
  10. Always puts me in a great mood when I wake to this! Melting rate is insane right now
  11. 13" was a common measurement around the property, which was backed up by the snowboard measurements....mostly dense stuff, pretty tough to shovel, but a great workout. Now the melting begin....32.5°/29° - Newtown, CT
  12. 9.8" so far, heavy snow continues.....31.1°
  13. 9.4" here....I am just north of that band, it will scoot just south and east of here...
  14. Still snow down there? No sleet yet? It looks like it is close at least....pouring snow up here right now...
  15. Best rates of the night, 3.6" in 2 hours...8.4" total...31.2°/30°
  16. 1.6" in the last hour, storm total is 6.4". Heavy snow continues to stick to everything, pines are sagging an awful lot...I would assume power outages are going to start occurring. 31.4°/30° Newtown, CT
  17. That would figure for this season, sleet comes and ruins the party....I think we are ok up here, you should be fine down that way too.
  18. Just cleared the snowboard, 4.8" so far....No wind, trees are sagging quite a bit so far. I can see 10" being possible at this point, looks like the really heavy stuff is about to begin 31.4°/30°
  19. A nice moderate snow falling, everything is caked in snow, roads are all snow covered...beautiful outside, no wind too...1.9" on the snow board 5 minutes ago. 31.8°/30° in Newtown CT
  20. Moderate snow now, might be a 0.25" so far....paved surfaces just wet 32.1°/31°
  21. The one side of my house still has solid ice/snow from weeks ago and 3 inches from the past 2 storms.....anything with more than 3 or 4 hours of sun was gone
  22. Grass coated, roads wet...light snow continues 33.6°/31°
  23. Anything with sun melted...March sun is a killer....I had 3.5" and was all gone by early this afternoon.
  24. Just did but forgot to add "obs" to the title...if anyone with that power could add that just in case the title isn't obvious enough...Thanks
  25. Light snow started around 4:50 pm....Hoping for double digits here, at least beat our total from November (8.3") 36.3°/30°
