I second this....even down here there seems to be more than normal and not the "half dead" ones either. The healthy sugar maple at the edge of my property is no longer dark green, noticed it last week even.

48.6 here, should have turned the window fans off, house borderline cold....

Best storm of the summer here....Davis says 0.36" but I am pretty sure it is clogged, waiting for safe point to go out and check the Stratus, it had to have been over an inch...pretty strong winds and consistent downpour for almost 45 minutes

Goes to show, complaining does work sometimes....We actually picked up 0.37" last night.

It took driving through the mountains of PA on Friday to experience the best storm in years...sitting in bumper to bumper traffic ontop of the mountain with cloud to ground strikes all around was amazing to experience, reminded me of the movie War of the Worlds. It would have been more enjoyable if it weren't for the 3 kids screaming and crying in terror....

Have to wonder if the solar min has anything to do with this or it is just a huge coincidence. I know there is on going research but wasn't sure how concrete the evidence was at this point...

I mean the fact that the white plywood won't hold heat like driveways or even the warm soggy grass.That board started "accumulating" even before the railings of my deck or my patio table...Every little bit counts, right? lol

I have a snow board that is 3/4" plywood, painted white that I will place in different locations depending on the potential winds of a storm. Last night I had the board on my back porch. I cleared the board after 6.5 hrs (4.8")...I woke up this morning and checked it at 7:10, It was at 8.5" on one side and 7.8" on the other side. I would assume this is due to the wind, not knowing what the actual number was I averaged the number and went with 8.15" + 4.8" = 12.95" total. Finding lots of numbers around the property of 12 and 13, i decided to call it 13"....It does seem high compared to other numbers, but there are so many variables to take into consideration...

13" was a common measurement around the property, which was backed up by the snowboard measurements....mostly dense stuff, pretty tough to shovel, but a great workout. Now the melting begin....32.5°/29° - Newtown, CT

That would figure for this season, sleet comes and ruins the party....I think we are ok up here, you should be fine down that way too.
