  1. 9.8" so far, heavy snow continues.....31.1°
  2. 9.4" here....I am just north of that band, it will scoot just south and east of here...
  3. Still snow down there? No sleet yet? It looks like it is close at least....pouring snow up here right now...
  4. Best rates of the night, 3.6" in 2 hours...8.4" total...31.2°/30°
  5. 1.6" in the last hour, storm total is 6.4". Heavy snow continues to stick to everything, pines are sagging an awful lot...I would assume power outages are going to start occurring. 31.4°/30° Newtown, CT
  6. That would figure for this season, sleet comes and ruins the party....I think we are ok up here, you should be fine down that way too.
  7. Just cleared the snowboard, 4.8" so far....No wind, trees are sagging quite a bit so far. I can see 10" being possible at this point, looks like the really heavy stuff is about to begin 31.4°/30°
  8. A nice moderate snow falling, everything is caked in snow, roads are all snow covered...beautiful outside, no wind too...1.9" on the snow board 5 minutes ago. 31.8°/30° in Newtown CT
  9. Moderate snow now, might be a 0.25" so far....paved surfaces just wet 32.1°/31°
  10. The one side of my house still has solid ice/snow from weeks ago and 3 inches from the past 2 storms.....anything with more than 3 or 4 hours of sun was gone
  11. Grass coated, roads wet...light snow continues 33.6°/31°
  12. Anything with sun melted...March sun is a killer....I had 3.5" and was all gone by early this afternoon.
  13. Light snow started around 4:50 pm....Hoping for double digits here, at least beat our total from November (8.3") 36.3°/30°
  14. Looks like 3 to 3.5", second largest all snow event all season....28.7°/28° Hopefully tomorrow night delivers
  15. I keep waiting for the last minute NW push or increase in precip on these models...but that doesnt seem to be happening, it has been steadily down hill since yesterday at 18z. I think 2-4 ends up being pretty common around here. At least the air isn't bone dry like it has been the past few days so it shouldn't take long to get the precip to make it to the ground.
  16. Interestingly enough the FV3 being the "snowy" model hasn't really gotten on board the whole time...might have been a red flag the whole time?
  17. Precip shield is south and east as well.....might end up being 3-6 for most
  18. I think we are solid....might as well start making our's official over Upton at this point
  19. Wow... That shuts out a lot of southern PA and central Jersey. Looks almost identical to the 6z Euro
  20. Nam used it's own rule and cut numbers in half. It hasn't had a steady run since it picked up on the storm so it is kinda hard to take seriously, plus it is the Nam beyond 6 hours....
  21. Yup...definitely room for some banding out here too, maybe we get lucky and share a part of that 8-12?
  22. Yeah, the schools weigh pretty heavily on those advisories it seems. They should come up with a school delay advisory or something. Despite having less than an inch out there, at 21 degrees the back roads are a sheet of ice...not good for busing children around.
  23. Lol, yup...more impactful to the commute this morning than yesterday's advisory we had. People around here don't seem to believe any forecasts anymore...its been a rough winter with "busts" on most of these nuisance systems.
  24. 4-8 for most of CT, a little less nw and a bit more to the east. I am sure there will be a band some where that could produce 8-12. If the storm develops earlier then maybe it becomes a region wide 8-12 inch storm... If its dumping snow in the northern Mid Atlantic tonight, then we should be good for some higher totals.
