Moderate to heavy snow out there, at least a 0.5" so far...temp down to 29.7° with the wind blowing, what a difference a couple hours make

Finally some light to moderate snow out there, temperature down to 31.6°/29.3°....lets go 1-5 inches!!!

Finally starting to see some flakes with that developing band down in Newtown...temperature just started dropping too, so hopefully some accumulations are coming. 32.2°/30.1°

Icy around here, we continue to get to get accretion with the light mist falling...

second that....I have noticed each Hrrr run has the deform band pushing further back west, anyone think there is something to that, or just the Hrrr doing weird things past 6 hours? I think it has us snowing even back here now toward dawn tomorrow.

ha, yeah temp sitting at 32.1° with occasional bursts of snow...just enough to keep the driveway slushy...slowly adding to the snowboard, maybe an additional 0.2 so far to get an inch total so far...

yup, not sure what it is, but has been steadily filling in around here...snow starting to pick up now. I found 1 model that has somewhat of a correlation to the current radar and it is the HRW WRF-NSSL model on pivotal...not sure if it is any good, but the 12z run matches almost perfectly so far

getting some nice bursts of snow here...this was definitely not on any of the computer models for this morning, so who knows what is going to happen at this point. Hoping for positive busts for everyone! 31.8° atm

Yup, only 5 up here for me, but it has become a bit easier....call it radar hallucinations, but I think the radar matches up well with the Herpes model run at 6z, which may put at least western sections of the state into play....and by the looks of the radar, you should be snowing pretty well at the moment

Might be tough pill to swallow as those to our southwest pickup 6-10 inches...lol

I still can't see us being shut out with this...but looking at all of the current guidance, 1-2 inches?

32.1°/30.9°, 0.8" of snow/sleet and 0.10" ice accretion....currently have a few snowflakes mixed with drizzle

Woke up expecting rain, as it was 32.5 when I went to sleep and raining...woke up to plow flying down the road and it is 31.6 at the moment. Trees are glazed nicely

0.75" of snow/sleet with a lot of freezing rain, but we are sitting at 31.8 as the precip begins taper off...hopefully we can score a few inches tomorrow afternoon/evening

sleet mixing in now, 25.3°/23°....looks to be about 0.75" couldn't even hit an inch, lol

really cold up state as well....moderate snow, 25.3°/23°...looks like the sleet line is hitting wall in southwest Fairfield county...at least if it can stay sleet, the temps will climb slower than if it were freezing rain.

Finally flakage here, 26.7/18...You can see the sleet line in NE NJ right now on radar...should be a couple hours of snow now, hopefully we can pile up quickly before the flip

That shifted pretty far south with regards to the mix/snow line...maybe seeing a cooler boundary? We were only suppose to get an inch or 2 here, now that doubled with the recent run...something to watch I guess

nothing but pellets here so far, need some stronger echoes before the warm air takes over or its nothing but sleet for us...on the bright side, air temps are really struggling at the moment 26.3°/17° atm
