True dat. Although I’ve had two pretty good downpours today. Popped up out of nowhere, almost Florida like weather. Kicked the humidity up to ludicrous speed however

Completely talking out of my as*, but to me it’s possibly a lose, lose situation for the coast. Weaker WAR, plus a less amped trough we miss out on the beneficial rain, which we need. But Lee spares us from the worst case scenario, outside of significant beach erosion, which seems inevitable right now. The opposite, and we are potentially looking at a world of hurt if Lee is not allowed to escape east, and gets captured.

What should I expect in Brightwaters from Lee? I kid, I kid seriously, the barrier beaches, and the south shore are going to take a beating even if Lee stays offshore. Franklin caused quite a bit of erosion, and we’re talking about a much bigger storm with a potentially closer track. Hopefully that’s the worst case scenario for the MA/NE coast.

@Rjay@forkyforkyet another “non event” for the island. Just like this morning, which amazingly caused modest tree damage in the VOB. Weird right? Oh please stop by the house for a barbecue later. I’ll be serving crow, just as soon as I’m able to get my head out of my ass
