    Not sure what Upton is seeing for LI, but they remain confident of the threat for the area. Right now, as depicted on current radar, maybe the NS, could get scraped. The southernmost part of the storms are not going to bring much of anything for the area. Hopefully it changes

    State ocean beaches close at 7 during the week, and 8 on weekends. Can’t lay blame on lifeguards when people choose to basically break the law by swimming after the parks close. A tragedy nonetheless.

    So much for the south shore idea. Doh although it’s been pretty steady here for the past hour. Maybe .2? Pretty pathetic regardless we got snow holed for a while, and when it was snowing, nothing stuck.
