That's exactly it. If teams had an uncontrolled outbreak due to non-vaccination, they would have to forfeit. However, this is mostly among the vaccinated so they are adjusting on the fly.

Yup, and the funny thing is that I’m usually the one pointing that out to others. And it was all for naught anyway, since we did grab the 70 after the afternoon climo report.
If anyone wondered whether there was a correlation between a dry Nov/Dec (<3" precip) and the winter snowfall...there is not. DCA's average is 15" and median is 11.6" in those cases, which is pretty close to the average.
Record high at DCA. At least 70 (maybe, saw from Ian’s Twitter that it was a 5 minute ob).
Only 8 calendar days at DCA now have high temp records in the 60s.
