  1. Despite the crappy NAM, this was never an event for us. We can simply enjoy our Spring temps over the next two days.
  2. Temps are all over the place. I’m at 50 and DCA is 44. Mid 50s in Manassas and 30s in some areas between Tysons and IAD.
  3. I can still root for snow. White rain/sleet can just go F off.
  4. Unpopular opinion, but the time switch is pretty necessary, especially for places further north.
  5. 19 this morning. Recorded a gust to 40 yesterday, which was the highest non-thunderstorm gust in two years on my station.
  6. Trace of rain, and even that is a stretch. Moderate gusts. A 16 degree drop over two hours. Pretty much a nothing-burger here.
  7. The models almost always way over do the warm sector wind gusts. It just doesn't mix down efficiently. Maybe if you get in the right spot during a heavier shower. I bet the better winds will be around sunrise out of the NW.
  8. We got it over the last few days (vector was my daughter’s best friend). Pretty much a nothing-burger because we were all maximum vaccinated.
  9. I throw away almost all junk mail/catalogs that come to our house. I know to leave the (copious amount) of seed/planting catalogs out, however.
  10. I legit went to listen to G thang after the set was over.
  11. Falls Church, VA 1/3/22 - 8.8" 1/7/22 - 2.8" 1/16/22 - 2.8” 1/28/22 - 1.2" 2/13/22 - 0.5" Total: 16.1” (81% of climo)
  12. I hit 60 earlier, but it has backed off to 55. This must mean something.
  13. It is warm for us. Honestly, makes more sense than somehow getting into the 20s.
  14. Did some cleaning out of the garden beds today. Going to try to get the mulch in earlier this year.
  15. Seems pretty straightforward. The GFS syncs the northern vort with the trough and the euro doesn't. We are rooting for the former.
