I wish I could figure out how to post pictures from my phone on here. I have a lot of berkshire east shots from this winter. Anyhow.... I would think berkshire east attempts to keep skiing through March. I don't have any insider information on it but in years past they have opened for one weekend in April. The natural may be gone by end of next week but the manmade will stick around for a long time. I made turns on Comp in early May 2015 and again in 2018. Barring any major warm spells I'd think the will close with a decent amount of terrain still skiable as they have buried the mountain in snow since the temps dropped mid Jan. They transition rapidly from skis to bikes, quicker than from bikes to ski. I have never seen the ski area as busy as it has been this year. I was up there dropping my son off yesterday and was surprised how busy it was mid week, mid day after school vacation week. I doubt people stop showing up especially if were harvesting spring corn most of March.

Not enough cold around? Last nights Euro starts off as a lot of rain for all of new england but brings some decent snow to NNE at the end.

Awesome! My son is skiing. I have to take a break this week. I have growing foot injury, comes and goes but it’s really starting to hurt lately!

I meant for winter. Spring will last a long time on north facing slopes.

Sounds like Tiger had multiple compound fractures. They had to put a metal rod in his lower leg. He will recover, but I agree he isn't coming back from this one at age 45.

Between today and this weekend the snowpack at low elevation Berkshire East is going to dwindle. Pretty good run though on basically average snowfall. Cold weather and little refreshers have helped. Potential for mid week storm and cold next week likely sets us up for one last hurrah next weekend.

That would make our NH and Maine friends happy.

Seems the snow warmed up enough yesterday to be very skiable. I hope I can get out on Wednesday for a few hours between classes.

Around 4" here. Looked like a bit more up on the hill. Great skiing today. Heavy dust on major crust.

Three days of not skiing trees was hard for me. Today had just enough snow to get back into some of the favored spots. A little scratchy but the fresh snow did the trick. Good stretch of winter out here with cold temps and decent snowpack.

Sad seeing these chances fizzle out a few days in. Euro brings a couple quick hitters through next week and maybe a couple above average days here. Maybe the pattern can allow for some better opportunity next weekend. Then it’s March which can go either way down here.

2/22 looks good on the Euro OP. Not sure if the EPS agrees.

Yeah hopefully a little bit of snow and then mostly sleet here at beast. Freezing rain doesn’t scare me though The masses will just rip up the rain Crust

Is this for the Tuesday storm? Seems like it may be more than 4-6"?

I hope here along the VT/MA border we can keep things mostly snow. Though a little freezing rain and sleet wouldn't hurt things.

No complaints here with these smaller events. If this weekend ends up being 2-4" then so be it, just adds to the feel. Deep winter appeal around here right now.

Regardless of what happen next week is looking like some fun!

Probably going to end up on the low end of the 2-5" but any snow is good snow, with more on the horizon hopefully.
