  1. Awesome picture! Found many pillowy fun lines all over the mountain today. Barely skied any actual trails! Woods were incredibly fantastic! Great Day!
  2. Berkshire East skied great today, made it out for a quick 2 hours after work. This is the best skiing down here since march 2018. It's only going to get better! Amazing how that little 6" cement event 2 weeks ago really made the woods fully game on.
  3. Some guys here are freaking out that Berkshire East is getting 10-16"! I've sort of given up trying to explain to people that it sits in a valley with a 500' base elevation. It's not in Savoy. I'd hope for 8".
  4. -7 down here in the valley last night.
  5. Go big or go home! NAM certainly has that look. What a burial that storm was. Savoy jackpot!
  6. What a run that was for SVT. I had the flu and other horrible maladies. I heard the skiing was top notch!
  7. Ill keep my eye on this one. We tend to do well out here with SWFE's.
  8. I'll take whatever we get. We have had several nice surprises this year out here.
  9. The valley is massive if you look at it from one of the higher points in the area. Grandparents had a house in halifax, vt you could literally look down on the entire valley all the way to the Holyoke Range. It's huge! It was a massive lake at one time.
  10. I was a peaks pass holder for a season when I was working up in that area. I skied Wildcat probably 25 times that year. I have never found it to be very busy, I did ski mostly midweek but I don't think the weekends ever get too crazy up there. Wildcat doesn't fit into Vail's business model. They don't have the greatest bar/restaurant and they aren't super high volume. Mount Snow, Hunter and Attitash are the prizes for Vail in that peaks deal.
  11. Nice to see that jackpot spot near Berkshire East. They got more snow than Mount Snow which is generally rare. Mount Snow is only reporting 4".
  12. Berkshire East skied very well yesterday. Got out for a skin at 7am, went back for powder turns in the woods at 11 and then chopped up groomers last night.
  13. Berkshire East reporting 6". I'd say that is pretty spot on. Skiing was nice both last night and early this morning. Better today once the fresh snow bonded with the ice underneath.
  14. I want to say 4-5" here but I haven't really measured it. It did ski incredibly nice regardless!
  15. I like what the Euro is showing for Savoy/Florida up into Searsburg/Woodford.
  16. Yes I read that on the ski runners facebook page. I'll bring a saw, maybe i can help out a little. I'd think there are a lot of trees down on the skin track as well. I may just go for it.
  17. I dislike posting on facebook groups and having people tell me I can't ski places because they don't want me wrecking their spot. That being said, anyone here think the Thunderbolt is skiable right now? I'd think it would be above 1500'.
  18. I love Cannon. I can say though I have never been there when it has been fully game on. It like another Indy pass legend, Magic, suffers from the great terrain but limited snow scenario. Cannon does have a great snowmaking system, they can cover a lot of the mountain in manmade if you are into that sort of thing. I have skied there when most of the trees have been skiable and the lower mountain woods are very fun, upper are very tight and steep. Cannon is also home to one of the gnarliest trails in the east, DJ's Tramline. I have not had the chance to ski it but I've heard good things. I had a pass at Wildcat for a season when I lived up there and I can say they get a lot more snow. Wildcat has some super fun terrain and tons and tons of great stashes!
