  1. It's that secondary NS piece over the GL that screws us.. ofc
  2. I have booked my reservation into the banter thread
  3. Should be able to start planting crops by early-february.
  4. The victoria mode +PDO is probably what screwed us over for the winter. I was a little worried from before winter started when the warm blob wasn't moving east. It is in the wrong spot.
  5. Damn. Stormtracker is really old. He's coming on his 250th birthday in a couple months.
  6. or eastern MD. Tropical climo down here. We can barely even get 32 and rain it's always 33 or above. Hardly ever an ice storm in these parts. Also, congrats Alert Canada on the 18z GFS.
  7. So we know who Mdecoy looks like now. Holy sh*t. I wasn't expecting that.
  8. Pretty good lapse rates today for most of the subforum. Not sure how we won't get a widespread severe event today
  9. Terrible driving conditions on the bay bridge. There's only 2 lanes open and the drivers ain't so bright
  10. 33/28. Heading over to pasadena MD shortly. Looks like about 31/32 there. Gonna have to be cautious
  11. Who's ready to torch again? I am. F this winter. This winter will probably end up as the worst winter since 2011-12. This winter gets an F- so far. Final grade likely to be D- or less
  12. Something the Mid-Atlantic may only ever get once in a lifetime. And that's if you live to be 100. Even then it's only like a 50% chance of happening. That's how bad our climo is
  13. It's almost like nature is giving the mid-atlantic a big "eff you!" for snow lovers. Check out this tweet from St. Johns, NL. A raging blizzard there for over 12 hours with hurricane force winds. Absolutely ripping over there with a deathband parked right over the city.
  14. Maybe the road salts are becoming suspended in air as fine particulates which is lowering the freezing point of water. Maybe that's why our winters have sucked for the past 3 years because of so many airmasses that are too warm for snow.
