    Yes, out in western Albemarle we got less than a hour of snow then pure sleet for the storm duration... measured 7.5 inches of sleet....

    A few snow flakes , light snow showers made it over the Apps into Waynesboro 2nite, usually doesn't happen , but it's a bit breezy down here 2nite so that'll do it...

    Well we certainly don't need any thing close to the Nov 2018 ice storm over here in the central valley....that was a crazy night booms & cracks and bright lights flashing in the sky.... Although that was more of a prolonged period of lighter rain/heavy drizzle...

    I think Kate was later in the month maybe more toward the coast... Juan and a secondary low is what triggered the catastrophic western Va and West Virginia flood event.. around election day week..

    That sort of has a Nov 85 vibe...different setup but a long duration rain event -First part tropical remnants of Juan passing by to our west followed by a 2nd low that popped over Carolina which became the main event..

    Looks like that in Waynesboro now.... side streets caving too...sleet laid down alittle cover now heavy snow sticking to it....

    Has been snowing steady for about a hour Waynesboro...still upper 30s only sticking onto the old snow and ice...alot of snow and ice still left over from the last storm.

    Nearing 3 inches of sleet here in eastern Waynesboro in addition to the 6 inches of snow.... Impressive system , most sleet I have seen since the pd 2 storm of Feb 2003 over in Crozet... That storm was all sleet down here...
