  1. Ha! All La La land - I am dreaming of a White Thanksgiving!
  2. NWS CPC says above normal for the 8 - 14 day period which would line up with the originally advertised shift to -PNA
  3. I was surprised that I have gotten about 0.33 - Was not expecting any!
  4. That and what are the Power Ball numbers..
  5. As the models showed for me out this way, not feeling confident I see much in western Loudoun. Radar is looking pretty poor.
  6. Graupel showers next week if that GFS look comes true?
  7. Radar looked heavy but it moved through quickly this morning. A very quick 0.08 picked up earlier
  8. Aw lawdy.. Here comes a drought thread I ain't starting or reviving one!
  9. Two NAM runs in a row showing the Rain shadow effect out here in Loudoun. Ridges get soaked, then just east it dries some, then resurgence around 95. I am sure it is where and how the storms set up, that drying is pretty typical.
  10. Some stats and maps to show it. Boooooo - But not a surprise!
  11. hahahahaha! Probably true! - I reset the stupid thing for the 10th time. DO NOT GET ACURITE STATIONS unless you want issues. My Atlas is probably fine, it is the display and internet set up that keeps having issue.
  12. 39.9 for a low Ha. 3 nights of 30s though that was barely the case this time.
  13. I have had to mow in early November, but have forced myself to just deal with long grass now and will not mow past October. I am a bit west so it is not as big of a deal. I have to put away all the summer stuff and get all the Christmas decorations out so I can get started! Seems that may start a bit sooner if we can get a good freeze next week! The lawn has slowed dramatically already.. thank goodness!
  14. 37.1 here! Was surprised to get a third straight night of 30s! Loved it!
  15. Ha - this guy likes the looks! The La Nina mentioned above, and other factors have me less enthused!
  16. 34.6 lowest of the season that I have been able to measure.
  17. What was the earliest measured snow at the major airports? I see Tony Pann saying it was today in 1979 (incidentally, I lived in Richmond VA at the time, and we saw flakes on October 10th that year as well) What about DC and Dulles?
  18. 35 here now. Stupid weather station stopped reporting last night, so it likely was a bit cooler. Had to come in here and read. Frosty morning on exposed elevated surfaces.
  19. 40.5 for the actual low.. Love the feel!
  20. If.. only... the blocky look can continue.. all winter
  21. BWI: 10/26 IAD: 10/25 DCA: 11/11 RIC: 11/12 Peak Oct temp at DCA: 79
