    Leesburg shows a temp of 90 and heat index of 97.. insanity

    Was at 88.9 on my weather station at about 3pm. Said the heat index was 96 at the time. WTH!!

    Quite a good amount of rain today. 0.62 out here in Purcellville! Just to my South cashed in with 1.5 inches or more!

    And today we tied the record for the longest the season has gone without a Hurricane in the Atlantic basin. That record should be broken tomorrow and extended quite a ways into the future

    The stuff in PA does look like it could target the area again. Not sure it will be severe.

    12z GFS back to bringing in some cooler air in the long range! Better than the blowtorch yesterday, but it is really flip-flopping! Euro 12z will shed light, but it keeps it pretty warm/hottish on previous runs.

    Well here in Purcellville we may get a warning... and have it dropped as downslope of the Blue Ridge/Mount Weather (probably some Government experiment, but keep that a secret) splits it and then reforms exactly like you said!

    This storm popped up in Purcellville is dumping rain!! Man! Lots of water being rung out.
