  1. LOL! At my home we dodged everything! I ended with a trace! Temps is way down to 79! So I am not complaining!
  2. 96/79 measured at 2:15pm was the worst of the day. Heat Index at that time was 114. Yuck. May be a bit high.
  3. 93/77... It sucks outside. Heat Index of 106.
  4. 1.38 inches of rain. Had 0.73 2 days ago, so that is good. Some progress in this arid time!
  5. Stuck on 94, but that DP of 74 gives me a HI of 104. Went outside and saw someone running in this! WOW! Not sure I am impressed or thinking that it is not so smart!
  6. 89/77 - Feels like 102 with that humidity! YUCK!
  7. 84 out here in Purcellville. The filtered sunshine has helped. I think if we break out the temps will soar quick. But I am happy so far with the slower rise.
  8. It looks like the storm was just dying out and I guess collapsing on itself. Quickly weakened to the northeast. One of the longest duration hail storms I have ever been in. Some stones definitely were bigger than half inch. Wild. Front yard https://fb.watch/m08-ZxzBy5/?mibextid=Nif5oz
  9. Such a strange storm. Wild winds and stuff from different directions. Kind of surreal outside with strong winds from the east.
  10. Awesome hailstorm in Purcellville Wow.
  11. Was a scorcher here at 93. Humidity too! I mean.. it was summer today with the worst type of set ups.. hot and humid. We shall endure!
  12. So far, I picked up 0.04" of rain! Wow! Radar is clear this way. I am not wishing for flooding rains like I am seeing on twitter. I would rather have less rain than a flooded basement. Wishing the best for those impacted and for a little water out this way!
  13. Soupy and miserable weather again! 89/75 Need some storms to cool us down!
  14. They are causing some rain cooled outflow and popping more storms. So hot and crazy humid! 91/72. Nasty
  15. Now that was a rain event! 1.13 inches between 9 and 10 pm. Most rain we have had in a long while. Great light show as well. Amazingly I went to the Clarke County Fair grounds and they had a small shower earlier and then the big rains missed them by a mile or less! Great show! Very cool.. lots of lightning further east back at home so I missed the biggest storm event of the summer so far! I hear my grass growing!
  16. I am going to call it crapvection because it has kept me cloudy and just a few showers. Energy needed is being tempered by clouds and some rain.. If we break out into full sun, I will be a bit more intrigued. I think the show is east of Loudoun today. We were the edge as far as I was concerned anyways
  17. I see sw to northeast movement. I agree though.. West to east messes my back yard up due to downsloping.. But a 74 degree dewpoint should provide enough moisture.. I feel if the atmosphere can sneeze today it will bring rain. Muggy 81/74.. Feels like 88 degrees here in Purcellville. Miserable
  18. Sunshine and 75/71 here in Purcellville. DP went up from 68 at 6am this morning. Things seem to be setup for now.. we will see if these humid conditions remain!
  19. 75 with a 71 degree DP and some sun out here in Purcellville, VA!
  20. High dews and heating will be the fuel we need. Seems we have a decent shot at that. I am far enough west that they may just be getting going here, but just east seems like it would be prime. Agree with all the split talks though, this is always a possibility for broken up lines of storms that explode east of I95. We shall see. Sun is trying hard here in Purcellville.
