  1. 99.5 so far for a high temp. Dang hot!!
  2. We have hit 96 already with a HI around 100. DP of 65 now which is a bit of a drop since earlier.
  3. Big 0.05 inches of rain today! The dryness is insanity!
  4. So hard to watch all that rain fizzle out as it gets closer to Loudoun. I was so encouraged by the radar earlier only to see things dry up and not really make it into the county. Painful for the rain starved.
  5. I did get back to June 1st! If you saw my note earlier! 1.81 since June 1st.
  6. 89 with a DP of 80! That is some humid air! Sheesh!
  7. Dude - Western Loudoun is looking like may get missed just to the east! Also, that earlier stuff just dissipated when it came through!
  8. Wow. Leesburg seems to be reporting 88 with a HI 103. Dulles still at 86 with a HI of 96. This is nuts!
  9. Very cool outflow boundaries showing on radar. Hoping we can get some storms to pop the desert Western Loudoun. 97.5 degrees was the high earlier and the highest HI was 112. Sitting at 94.5 (HI of 107) now and looking at and hoping for the outflow boundary to help with the temps for a bit, but I may be just too far away!
  10. 99.1 currently which is the hottest it is has been in my backyard in years! I am not certain I measured that high in my backyard since moving here in 2011! Too hot!
  11. Could have included the area in an Excessive Heat Warning with all we have been experiencing! 97.4 with a HI of 107 currently, but it has been as high as 109. Nasty outside!
  12. 0.09 here in Purcellvillle. Cool rainbow at sunset but the ground needed so much more. 31 day total on rain is 0.89". We are in need!
  13. The satellite may have been picking it up https://x.com/tymetwx/status/1808553556548411845?s=19
  14. Is it me or is Beryl looking better and better on satellite?
  15. 52.6 last night here! That was so cool! Wow!
  16. No real help on the drought here in Purcellvillle. Outside feels great now!!
  17. I got a rock. Crazy how close that line of at least some rain came to Purcellvillle. The lightning was fun to watch but the lack of rain is sad.
  18. Getting some pretty good gusts and finally a bit of rain. Winds probably gusted close to 40+ mph based on my weather station, but we lost power a few times and it messed up some of the top gusts. Anyways.. sustained wind for a bit in the 30 to 40mph zone and some decent rain... but not that heavy here in Purcellville.
  19. Looks like some crapvection heading this way. It does look like a storm fired in the middle of it.
  20. It is severe warned. Agree, the rotation looks interesting!
  21. Hallucinations are a side effect of being overheated! Hope the reporter is alright
  22. 90/73 - HI of 99 Already nasty!
