51F in Hastings this morning with the heat kicking on for a second day in a row. That’s a first for June!

it is. Going to be a long hot summer because all of our summers are now long, hot and humid. Take the below normal when you can get it… In Just a few short weeks your air condition will be on for the next three months.

we have a house in wading River just north of that. There is an interesting dynamic there with radiational cooling. You see it play out in FOK too. That said, the overnight temperatures and humidity have increased in alarming fashion over the last 20 years in the same area. Particularly in the summer.

One of the reasons I move to Westchester was how much quicker and easier it is to get to Manhattan. It is just too hard to get on and off Long Island. You take a place like Huntington and you can be in Putnam easily in same time

It is March. Not December. there seems to be a narrative that March is the new December but that really isn’t the case. March is warm. The sun sucks. The days are long. Past the first week (and that is us now) marginal can not be part of the equation

since you were predicting school closures: Hastings is already on a 2 hour delay. I think many of you making the predictions don’t have kids and were using 20 years ago as your guide hahaha

I have NWS saying 3-5 and accuweather saying an inch on same app. Talk about confusing the masses
