I love seeing massive amounts of snow too, but there's nothing quite like a blizzard. Blinding heavy snow with roaring winds... ooo weee. It just hits different. It's a special and rare occurrence for most of us.
Euro is about 5 to 6 millibars weaker with the surface low compared to the GFS. Takes about the same path though. The good news: that surface low on the 00z Euro is stronger than on the 12z Euro. Overall, it’s a step in the right direction.
The HRRR is intriguing. 6+” in Southwest Michigan by Saturday morning. We get sleet just south of the border here in Indiana. A nice swath of 3+” in Chicago area.
