    Yeah.. we aren't in anything Strong. There is a threshold in ~ONI -0.8 that is a whole different Pacific pattern, more dominant. This right now is kind of "lean toward -PNA".

    Phoenix broke it's all time Summer record by 2 degrees this year, not 0.2 or 0.4 degrees like other standings, and Alaska broke it's by 2 degrees last Summer. Now it's going to snow in Denver on 9-8 (Winter storm watch). Strong Pacific southern jet influence this year.

    That's quite an extreme Strong-Nina composite, I'm not saying the N. Pacific ridge won't build as strong, but that's right in the prime NPH spot.
