Eh, it is what it is. Bad luck (again). It was gorgeous out, I got to walk the dogs twice on the NCR trail with no one around in falling snow and they've been out to play four times and I got to watch my younger lab take long rolling baths in the fresh snow - so...not a bust - but still have not personally seen a 5 inch or greater snowfall since Jan. 2016 (moved for north balt city to monkton in Dec. 2021). It has been a weird run of bad snow luck for me personally for greater snowfalls. At least we didn't miss out almost entirely like happened up here in Jan. 2022 when the beltways over to Ji were getting 10 inches and we got half an inch...

yup. not exactly a bust but we've had almost none of what a bunch of the forum has experienced.

I will answer for psu- his area and adjacent areas have missed any big ones for several years now while the immediate south has cashed.

It’s been pretty disappointing again up this way. Pretty, but definitely missed almost all the good stuff again.

it is what it is. Been a gorgeous day but it is not piling up. Maybe next time. We remain overdue up this way to really maximize a legit event.

My labs will NOT let me work. I am sitting outside on my deck in the falling snow watching them explore. Frankly, this rules.

I moved out here, amidst trees and rolling hills, and suspected that it might be fookin' gorgeous in a legit daytime rates snowfall. After two years I can finally report... ...CONFIRMED. Holy balls is it gorgeous out.

It’s aight to the north but nothing like you all are reporting south of here.

Maybe 3/4 of an inch on ground for my spot in Monkton and coming down nicely.

Good lord - I just had to clear off my snowboard and the other spots I measure as a control so I could potentially measure new snow. It has been a LONG time since that was a consideration…

Weather app says snow shower over me altho there is nothing falling - prob virga being reported that way by the app based on radar.

Typically the short range and last globals before an event go in the obs thread I think.

Genuine snow on snow…RARE around here. This is potentially pretty cool. 30/17.
