Yes the quality was surprisingly good. I think having good cold weather (low teens) a few days ago on the final day of snowmaking really helped. It was one of those nights that the guns make such a mist that I get some all the way down to my house half a mile away, and the whole valley is in fog

Fun opening weekend. Only one trail, but the snow quality was quite good top to bottom, and the temperature was just about perfect

Yes, there was a thin layer on Burns Pond yesterday which is a fairly large body of water, so I imagine smaller ones are decently frozen. Big temperature rise overnight, 16 to 26
