Depends on who you ask. My kids will gladly wear shorts to school in negative single digit temps. They’re essentially feral.

Yeah, a bit of water could actually help. Found myself on a cutoff today where you had to push, and the pole just sink all the way down, making it really hard to push. Some heavier base would give more support. On the flip side, the powder is amazing and the resort hasn’t bother grooming half the trails yet, so it’s a lot of fun

Our forecast busted here. Was supposed to be 30% chance and an inch or less… got a few inches already and it’s snowing well with big fluffy flakes

I don’t trust ANY model. Cool as it would be, I think the reality is that the atmosphere is far too complex for any model to have a clue past a couple of days out. It’s fun to watch them but I never put any trust into anything more than a few days out.

The GFS definitely expands the NNE morale to the rest of the region. Fingers crossed!

Light snow started. Won’t be around for Xmas but I’d love to see all of New England have a white Xmas for once!

Eh. Who cares. Everyone has a right to be dumb. I deal with a lot of them. Like the guest this past weekend - repeat guest, who complained about there being mice in the condo. Only problem is, they sent evidence of the mouse problem… and it’s the same picture they used last year to complain about a mouse problem! Oops

Stake reached 10” today - first double digits of the season till the grinch storm wipes is out. Nice snowy day. Lots of new terrain open including several ungroomed natural snow trails.
