    It’s been snowing quite well today, one of the nicer upslope periods in a while

    The wind stopped here but the snow continues. It’s been a great week from that perspective, just shy of 6” total in a Narnia-like pattern. Roads not great but not awful either.

    The past few days have have felt like living in an arctic area with the fine constant snow, the wind and the drifting. I hate wind but it’s been cool in a way, very raw. Another 2-4 is in the forecast for tomorrow, I’m hoping it helps open a few more glades assuming that the snow tends to stick around much better in glade trails

    Yep, that’s correct! That was about the nastiest part of the drive as it was the boundary between the heavier snow in Bretton Woods and the crazy wind in the notch.

    There’s some snow but it’s more like an ice sheet. Bartlett has decent coverage of very shiny snow.

    Had to go to Conway - driving through the notch was scary! The wind is insane. Heavier snow up here but not nearly as windy. And mostly sunny in Conway, lol

    I stand corrected. I just got to the office at the base area, just one mile away and it’s quite windy

    2” here since last night. Decent light to at times moderate snow atm with very small flakes

    No wind at all here, and it’s accumulating decently - about 2” since last night

    About an inch overnight. Still very tiny flakes, but quite thick “mist.” Forecast calls for 2-4” but it seems like it would be difficult to get that much with this snow growth

    Went x-country skiing for my first time in Bretton Woods. Really beautiful. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would!

    -7 here in radiational cooling land. a bit frustrating to see the rain in the forecast with so many people visiting, but personally I’m really thankful - my sister was here for a week and it was just picture perfect Hallmark movie snow all week. We leave today for Yellowstone, excited about that! It’s a magical place in the winter.

    Picture perfect Christmas. Trees loaded with snow, currier and Ives flakes all night till about 10 this morning, and now bluebird skies. Can’t ask for better! Merry Xmas!

    8” here (haven’t measured myself but the resort is usually pretty spot on with their reports). Love these storms where temperature is just not an issue
