  1. No NAM extrapolations? I guess the towel has been thrown.
  2. Not yet, but probably just a few days away from cancelling all of December.
  3. Hope the GEFS is real. I would lock that up right now.
  4. For sure. Still plenty of time for things to change or swing back the other way.
  5. It was pretty obvious fairly on in the run that it was digging way too far west.
  6. We have quite the showdown. Seems like GFS is off on its own island, but maybe it scores a coup. Guess it's on to the 18z runs!
  7. Lock that in! Near bullseye at my house.
  8. Maybe I used the wrong choice of words. My main point more than anything was that you can always tell whether the overnight runs were really good or not based on how many additional pages of the thread there are when you wake up.
  9. I'll take small storms but when you've been in the snow wilderness for six years and you have a ripe pattern and signs of potential big storm and then it looks like it might not happen, I'm not going to be thrilled.
  10. Well sure, but you realllly don't want to waste great patterns.
  11. I figured overnight runs were not great when I saw how few additional posts there were. Good thing we still have a week to go!
  12. Low is ridiculously strong but the heavy snow isn’t very extensive and it looks like it heads too far east again.
  13. Watching DT's video now. He mentioned that the GEFS was upgraded, FWIW. He seems quite excited about the pattern.
  14. Bernie Rayno seems convinced it's going negatively tilted far sooner and cutting.
  15. Yeah, I was surprised no one was alarmed by the GEFS. But maybe it's cause it's still many days away? Definitely too east for my liking.
  16. Looks like the second storm on Boxing Day vanished this run.
  17. Fringed! Didn't love the way that evolved, but it'll change in six hours. Just glad it's still showing the significant storm idea.
  18. Yeah, looks like it may drop in farther west this run, which would be good news.
  19. I just think back to how they cashed in on all three big storms in 2009-2010 like we did but they also can sometimes get clipped by bigger storms that whiff us. But generally, our storms are their storms and vice versa. Same with NYC for the most part, except for when they get a Boxing Day type deal where the shield is right on the coast, and I think one of the big 2009-2010 storms missed them just to the south. Boston is a whole different story.
