  1. HRRR really wants to put some 50-70 mph wind gusts in our neck of the woods today/tonight. Northern plateau looks like it could rough, but I'm a little concerned down here on Waldens Ridge too. Round 1 (early afternoon) Round 2 (early Monday AM)
  2. Could be getting some insane flash flooding, potential for 1 in 100+ year short term event? For Knoxville - NOAA 14 Pt Precipitation Frequency Estimate
  3. Currently very lightly snowing!! Some of the tiniest/shiniest flakes I've ever seen
  4. Down to 18° this am, hoping that will kill off some of the ticks. Got into a few last week!
  5. Woah boy was that rough up on the Plateau. Recorded a 42 mph gust right after the main line passed, power went out after that so not sure how much stronger the wind got. Definitely windier following the front. What a strange day, started the day in a dense fog at 66° with heavy winds, got about 2 inches of rain leading to new rivers throuhout the forest, then the incredible winds...
  6. Getting heavy snow atm, 31° Wondering if this is the last we see for the season

  8. still coming down, just barely below freezing at 32.
  9. Going on about an inch of snow at this point by far the most we've gotten this season Ripping Fatties
  10. Heavy snow/grapule again, all elevated surfaces immediately covered
  11. And back to rain lol Pretty while it lasted
  12. Currently 34 and just switched to heavy snow
  13. Definitely snow mixed in with the rain, hoping the heavier returns to our southwest help! Currently 38.7°
  14. FWIW we are running about 5 degrees below HRRR at this time up on the Plateau. Winds from the north up here as well, hit 44.4 an hour ago and currently 43°. I just want to believe
  15. The 18z HRRR was very kind to the plateau, 00z not much at all lol
  16. 111 between Dunlap and Soddy Daisy gets to about 2200 feet in elevation before the western drop into the Sequatchie Valley. The exit for Lewis Chapel Road has lots of parking and a couple good slopes, which are sorely missing up on Flat Top
  17. 2000' on the plateau you say.... May be the best superbowl party ever haha Canadian trend is less snow overall, plateau barely gets an inch. 3 to 4 inches inches mountains with a dollop of 6+ in the south apps
  18. I'll take the 6-10" amounts on the plateau if I gotta Man this is gonna be interesting! May need to setup a time-lapse if we trend well
  19. Well spoke to soon haha 31.1°, heavy freezing fog/drizzle, trees starting to glisten and rhododendron starting to fall over
  20. Currently 30° on the plateau between Chatt and Crossville and lightly raining. Hit freezing last night around 2am but appears the ground/surfaces are to warm for anything.
  21. Started snowing last night around 8PM, woke up to a half inch of snow. Currently sleeting at 30.6°
  22. Lightly snowing with a good dusting, 30.6° I'll take what I can get
  23. Still hoping for a little dusting at elevation on the plateau this Monday, at least this time it's been cold going into the event so maybe more will stick. Little more following that as well out to the 27th Lots of potential....
  24. Looks loaded upstream coming off Lake Michigan
  25. Pouring snow/sleet for hours but accumulation comes and goes strangley enough. Prob the third 1/2 inch that's accumulated then dissappeared today lol Temps steady 30.4°
