  1. 89.8° high here, moved up here and setup my weather station a little over a year ago and still haven't broke 90°... yet haha There was a stalled/stationary line of light rain between Murfreesboro and the plateau today, but we never got in on it
  2. Same, high of 71 and 1.4" so far. Great porch napping weather

  4. We got rocked up on the Plateau(hwy111), had a cell pop up right over us in front of the main line. I'm not sure if we were hit with a microburst or what but it was the worst wind and hail I have experienced since the 2011 outbreak (lived in South knox then). So many old growth trees came down in the area, this event will leave a scar https://streamable.com/3ap17d
  5. HRRR really wants to put some 50-70 mph wind gusts in our neck of the woods today/tonight. Northern plateau looks like it could rough, but I'm a little concerned down here on Waldens Ridge too. Round 1 (early afternoon) Round 2 (early Monday AM)
  6. Could be getting some insane flash flooding, potential for 1 in 100+ year short term event? For Knoxville - NOAA 14 Pt Precipitation Frequency Estimate
  7. Currently very lightly snowing!! Some of the tiniest/shiniest flakes I've ever seen
  8. Down to 18° this am, hoping that will kill off some of the ticks. Got into a few last week!
  9. Woah boy was that rough up on the Plateau. Recorded a 42 mph gust right after the main line passed, power went out after that so not sure how much stronger the wind got. Definitely windier following the front. What a strange day, started the day in a dense fog at 66° with heavy winds, got about 2 inches of rain leading to new rivers throuhout the forest, then the incredible winds...
  10. Getting heavy snow atm, 31° Wondering if this is the last we see for the season

  12. still coming down, just barely below freezing at 32.
  13. Going on about an inch of snow at this point by far the most we've gotten this season Ripping Fatties
  14. Heavy snow/grapule again, all elevated surfaces immediately covered
  15. And back to rain lol Pretty while it lasted
  16. Currently 34 and just switched to heavy snow
  17. Definitely snow mixed in with the rain, hoping the heavier returns to our southwest help! Currently 38.7°
  18. FWIW we are running about 5 degrees below HRRR at this time up on the Plateau. Winds from the north up here as well, hit 44.4 an hour ago and currently 43°. I just want to believe
  19. The 18z HRRR was very kind to the plateau, 00z not much at all lol
  20. 111 between Dunlap and Soddy Daisy gets to about 2200 feet in elevation before the western drop into the Sequatchie Valley. The exit for Lewis Chapel Road has lots of parking and a couple good slopes, which are sorely missing up on Flat Top
  21. 2000' on the plateau you say.... May be the best superbowl party ever haha Canadian trend is less snow overall, plateau barely gets an inch. 3 to 4 inches inches mountains with a dollop of 6+ in the south apps
  22. I'll take the 6-10" amounts on the plateau if I gotta Man this is gonna be interesting! May need to setup a time-lapse if we trend well
  23. Well spoke to soon haha 31.1°, heavy freezing fog/drizzle, trees starting to glisten and rhododendron starting to fall over
  24. Currently 30° on the plateau between Chatt and Crossville and lightly raining. Hit freezing last night around 2am but appears the ground/surfaces are to warm for anything.
